Connecting Your Instagram Account

Before you can launch a campaign, you'll connect the Instagram account you want to send from. SocialMedia DMs connects through the SocialMedia DMs Chrome extension, which links your Instagram to your dashboard.

How to connect

1. Install the SocialMedia DMs Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Log in to your SocialMedia DMs dashboard in the same browser.
3. Make sure you're signed in to the Instagram account you want to use for outreach, in that same browser.
4. Follow the prompts to link your Instagram account to your dashboard.

Once linked, your account is ready to run campaigns.

Good to know

Your campaigns send through the extension in your browser, so the browser needs to be open while a campaign is actively sending. Sending runs from the Instagram account you're signed in to.
